Okay, it’s officially ridiculous how close we are to the end of the year. Even though I’m slightly panicked with how time seems to just keep going faster and faster as I get older (I’m fairly sure some Einstein bloke has a reason for this), I will still accept these upcoming holidays.
As we shift into the final weeks of this school year, handover and transition programs begin to occur. Today’s Three Things are sponsored by students who began to explore and explain what it means to be a leader…
Thing #1 – Year 5 Girl
“It’s not about a title or what you can get, but what you can give”
Okay, we need you to step up. And to put that on school bumper stickers.
Thing #2 – Year 5 Girl
“Do you think we would get an extra slushie as a school leader?”
You’ve gotta have incentives, right? Wait, maybe I have this wrong.
Thing #3 – Year 5 Boy
“I’m excited to lead the Preps in their first year…they’ll be school leaders one day, so we better set a good example”
Well, we hadn’t covered succession planning, but I see you’re one step ahead of us.
Heard your own great quotes from kids? We’d love to hear any great quotes or things you’ve overheard!
